With the minimum yield strength 355 Mpa,steel plate and sheet P355NL1 and P355NH mainly used for hot liquid pressure 

vessls and boilers in heavy industry.Pressure vessel steel plate P355NL1 should be under Normalized heat treatment and 

done low temperature impacting test at minus 40 centi degree,and pressure vessel steel sheet P355NH is at minus 20 centi 

degree,and else steel grade P355NH can used in elevated temperature surroundings.

For steel plates P355NL1 and P355NH,additional technical needs,such as HIC and UT is normally chosed to do by end 

users when enquiry and making orders.HIC test shall be done in accordance with EN 10229 specification. Carbon and low 

alloy steels may be susceptible to cracking when exposed to corrosive H2S containing environments, usually referred to as 

sour service.
