Weldable fine grain steel P690QL1 and P690QL2 mainly be rolling as steel plate and sheet for building pressure vessels and 

boilers.Steel plate P690QL1 shall be done impacting test with low temperature properties down to minus 40 centi degree.

And steel plate P690QL2 shall be done impacting test with low temperature properties down to minus 60 centi degree.Both 

of these two pressure vessel steel grades P690QL1 and P690QL2 have to be heat treatment under Quenching and Tempering 

when rolling.

 

The steels of P690QL1 and P690QL2 specified in this standard shall be suitable for welding processes in current using,the 

mill shall provide the end user with the data on suitable welding conditions determined on the basis of weld procedure tests 

if customers requested.About these higher steel grades for P690QL1 and P690QL2, we would submit inquiries with customers 

technical requirements together to technical department in our mill for final reviewing,and then offer our official quotation w

hen all technicals are Ok for us.
