Common carbon structure steel plate A36 has widest applications in morden industry owning to its cheapest rolling cost and easiest welding.Under another American standard ASME,there is also a similar steel grade SA36 under SA36 / SA36 M steel specification.Also there are many equivalent carbon steel plate with A36 steel,such as Q235B under Chinese steel standard,S235JR under European steel standard（EN 10025-2,SS400 in Janpanese steel standard.These carbon steels are commonly bolted and riveted in structural applications.
