With the minimum yield point at 500 Mpa for the thickness belows 50 Millimeters,steel plate and sheet S500QL1 

shall be under Quenched and Tempered delivery condition.This steel grade was collected in European standard 

EN 10025_6,there are two other steel grades S500Q and S500QL are also at this high yield strength,the tensile 

strength are all at between 590_770 Mpa.

 

Besides Heat treatment technical,S500QL1 steel plates have to be done low temperature impacting test at minus 

60 when rolling.In Germany steel standard,there is the equivalent steel grade EStE 500 V.They have the same 

values in chemical compositon and mechnical properties.Now Yusheng list the technical values table of steel
