China Iron and Steel Association invited analysts Luo Bingsheng on March 17,he siad China would consider the full 

implementation of imported iron ore agency systerm, reasonable control of the port of import inventory. 

Luo said that recently, the State Council, China Steel Association specially reports that sharp rise in imports of iron ore 

impact chinese steel market.It has attracted the attention related to leadership, and instructed the Ministry of Commerce 

solution. 

Luo further said that after the Chamber of Commerce in consultation with Minmetals Steel Association, agreed that the major 

domestic steel prices of imported iron ore agency fully implemented, effectively put an end to double the current domestic 

price of imported iron ore market, to prevent human speculation, which further regulate the import of iron ore market. 

Luo also pointed out that recently Japanese government adopt strict measures to limit rolling blackouts and electricity, iron a

nd steel production will have a major impact on Japan. Especially the big blast furnace shutdown cuts not only affect the 

total production, but will also reduce the iron ore imports, on the other hand, which is conducive to world iron ore prices 

lower. Combined with post_earthquake recovery and reconstruction of Japan will significantly boost demands of steel, it 

would be benefit to china steel,especially china steel export.
